Curiosity #58 - A Different Kind of Decision Day

🎤 Quotable quotes: “You should be wondering about everything."

— Leah Leverich

Leadership Rules with Leah Leverich

✨ This Week's Curiosity: A Different Kind of Decision Day

What if the biggest decision of your life didn’t come with a checklist? That’s exactly what Leah Leverich wrestled with after high school — and her answer was, quite literally, to start a podcast about it.

In this week’s episode of Leadership Rules, we chat with Leah, host of the Decision Day podcast and brand manager at Big Brand Ventures. Her journey? Non-traditional in the best way. Leah skipped college to jump straight into the workforce, not because it was easy — but because it felt right.

She talks about:

  • Feeling overwhelmed by "follow your passion" advice

  • Having tough conversations with family (even at Wegmans)

  • Choosing courage over convention

  • And why job shadowing is one of the most powerful tools for figuring out what’s next

More than anything, Leah reminds us that self-awareness and curiosity aren’t just buzzwords — they’re the real prerequisites for leadership.

🧭 As she says: “No leader knows everything. So stay curious.”

Oh it was a busy week for podcasts! We were psyched to have our friend Dan Wolfe on our Lead it Like Lasso podcast for S3 Ep9 - a rewatch of La Locker Room Aux Folles. Dan dug deep on some leadership insights to share.

Super curious, do you know of any conferences, events or podcasts we should attend? We'd love to hear!

Believe!
